Coinbase Executive Discovers 430 BTC Associated with Ross Ulbricht

Coinbase Director of Product Strategy Conor Grogan identified approximately 430 Bitcoin linked to Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, which have been inactive for over 13 years. Initially valued at around $60,000, the current worth exceeds $45 million.

Grogan shared an address holding 88.77 BTC, suggesting Ulbricht may not possess the wallet's private keys.
The funds are separate from the 174,000 BTC seized by US authorities in 2013.

Presidential Pardon

On January 21, President Donald Trump granted a full pardon to Ulbricht after he served over a decade for operating Silk Road. This decision aligns with Trump's campaign promise to commute Ulbricht's sentence.
