Creditcoin launches hackathon with $15K prizes and CertiK credits
Creditcoin is hosting a hackathon, and given how scarce hackathon prize pools have been lately, the prize size is pretty solid and the concept looks good, so I’m helping spread the word.
Total prizes: $15,000 ($10,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd, $2,000 for 3rd) + $8K CertiK audit credit for winners
Submission period: 8/13–9/6
Winners announced: 9/18
On the technical side, there’s a constraint that you must use Creditcoin’s Attestcoin protocol. It’s described as a cross-chain feature that reads and verifies data from other chains. Since you don’t have to build solely with on-chain data from Creditcoin itself, it might actually open up more diverse ideas.
It’s a bit unusual that they’re giving CertiK audit credits to the winners, but CertiK’s reputation has improved compared to the past, and it’s not like they’re forcing a CertiK audit, so it seems fine.
They’ll share hackathon details during a kickoff AMA on the 18th, so if you’re interested, it might be worth tuning in.
