Metaplanet Acquires 330 BTC, Increasing Holdings to 4,855 BTC
Metaplanet announced a purchase of 330 BTC, increasing its total holdings to 4,855 BTC, valued at over $420 million as BTC surpassed $87,300. This marks Metaplanet's third purchase this month, making it the tenth-largest public BTC holder.
ANAP Holdings also acquired approximately 16.6591 BTC for about $1.4 million last week. The holdings will be managed by ANAP Lightning Capital, which will conduct quarterly assessments of BTC market value, reflecting changes in profit and loss statements.
Current BTC yield stands at 12.1%, compared to 95% from the previous quarter. In contrast to U.S. equities, which lost $5.4 trillion recently, BTC experienced a smaller decline of 6%. Metaplanet's stock rose nearly 0.9% on the Tokyo Stock Exchange since opening.
