MEXC upgrades Futures Earn, pays up to 20% APR on futures balances

Mutsamudu, Comoros, November 3, 2026 – MEXC announced an upgrade to Futures Earn, a feature that allows eligible futures account balances to earn interest while remaining available for trading. The update focuses on simplifying usage and clarifying how rewards are calculated.

Key UX Enhancements

  • Visualized reward rules: Diagrams explain the core logic behind interest and reward calculations.
  • Scenario-based guidance: Step-by-step, in-context tips from activation and funding to earning interest on open positions.
  • Earnings calculator: Customizable inputs to estimate potential returns before use.

Interest Structure and Coverage

MEXC integrates an interest-earning mechanism directly into the futures account: eligible balances earn automatically without transferring funds or subscribing to a separate product. The product supports USDT- and USDE-margined futures pairs.

  • USDT-margined pairs: 5% base APR plus up to 15% additional rewards, capped at 20% APR.
  • USDE-margined pairs: 4.75% base APR.
  • Accrual and settlement: Eligible balances of at least 100 USDT accrue interest hourly and settle daily.
  • Participation terms: No minimum trading volume requirement and no fixed end date.

Positioning

MEXC states that dedicated futures earning products remain uncommon and often restricted by asset type, volume thresholds, or campaign time limits. Futures Earn targets broader asset coverage and lower entry barriers while maintaining capital availability for trading.

Company Context

Founded in 2018, MEXC is a multi-asset trading platform offering crypto, stocks, tokenized assets, and derivatives with 0-fee trading and high-liquidity execution. The platform emphasizes tools for retail capital efficiency, including 0-fee trading, VVIP benefits, and Futures Earn.
