Mutsamudu, Comoros, September 11, 2026 — MEXC reported that trading volume across stock, index, and ETF Futures increased 130% month-on-month in August. The number of available contracts rose 35% to more than 400. Spot trading volume for tokenized stocks and ETFs increased 30%, with higher activity across nearly all existing listings.
Memory and Semiconductor Trading Expanded Across U.S. and Korean Markets
Stock Futures activity expanded from one dominant memory stock to multiple U.S. and Korean memory companies. Five of the 10 highest-volume Stock Futures tracked memory or storage companies.
SKHYNIX, tracking SK hynix, ranked second overall and first among individual-stock Futures, with volume up approximately 401% month-on-month. MU, tracking Micron, ranked third, with volume up approximately 267%.
Combined volume for Stock Futures linked to Korean companies and markets, including SKHYNIX, SKHY, SAMSUNG, and KORU, increased approximately 348%. Their share of total Stock Futures volume rose from 14% in July to 27% in August. SNDK, tracking SanDisk, also recorded volume growth, although its share declined from 25% to 11%.
Activity also expanded into semiconductor ETFs. SOXL Stock Futures, which track an ETF providing 3x daily long exposure to semiconductors, ranked first after volume increased approximately 1,192%. Its share of total Stock Futures volume rose from below 4% in July to 20% in August. SOXS Stock Futures, which track an ETF providing 3x inverse daily exposure to the U.S. Semiconductor Index, recorded 436% volume growth.
By contrast, volume for SPX500 Stock Futures, which track the S&P 500 Index, declined approximately 32%. The figures indicate a shift from broad-market indices toward sector-specific exposure. Outside the semiconductor sector, volume for SPCX, tracking SpaceX, and TSLA, tracking Tesla, increased approximately 45% and 784%, respectively.

Tokenized Stocks and ETFs Recorded 30% Spot-Volume Growth
Spot volume for MEXC’s tokenized stocks and ETFs increased approximately 30% month-on-month in August. Their share of total TradFi Spot volume rose from 63% in July to 73% in August. Approximately 99% of existing listings recorded higher volume. The 10 largest listings accounted for 12% of segment volume, indicating that activity was distributed across a broad range of assets.
CRCL, tracking Circle, ranked first, with volume up 69% month-on-month. COIN, tracking Coinbase, and HOOD, tracking Robinhood, also ranked among the top 10. Combined volume for the three crypto-related listings increased 47%.
NBIS, tracking Nebius, an AI cloud-infrastructure company, ranked third after volume increased 188%, the highest growth rate among the top 10. NVDA, tracking NVIDIA, ranked fifth, with volume up 54%. AI-related activity covered both semiconductor and cloud-computing companies.

During the 10 weekend days in August, Stock Futures trading represented approximately 11% of monthly volume. MEXC also reported that its August 8 stock-trading campaign attracted more than 86,000 users and reduced participants’ trading fees by more than $1 million.
MEXC CEO Vugar Usi attributed the increase to demand for access to equity-linked products across multiple markets and asset classes. He said the company plans to expand its equity-linked offerings and provide access through a single account.
