Robot prices drop to $25,000, undercutting human labor

Just three years ago, a humanoid robot cost almost as much as a small house. The industry leader was selling them for $85,000 apiece. Last year, the same company’s average price fell to $25,000.

People don’t buy robots because they’re smart. They buy them when they’re cheaper than humans. And that day has already arrived.
