SEC-CFTC clarity and $989M ETF inflows drive Solana toward $115
Solana flips a key trend signal and eyes $100. ETF inflows and US guidance support the move.
An analyst says the SuperTrend turned Buy on Solana for the first time since January, with limited resistance to $100 and a possible run to $115. The call follows a 22% rebound off March lows and a break from the $77–$92 range, after a one-month high at $97 earlier this week and a pullback to $90 on Wednesday (NewsBTC).
Ali Martinez cites URPD data showing a “robust demand floor” between $85.55 and $82.60, where 76M SOL changed hands, and a 38‑day accumulation that drained sell liquidity. He sees a “thin ceiling” up to $100, then a liquidity cluster near $115 (X post; NewsBTC).
He adds that holding the ~$93 zone, which flipped into a structural floor, could accelerate the move (X post).
Spot Solana ETFs posted $17.81M of net inflows on March 17, the largest single-day in two weeks, and their best weekly stretch since mid‑January. Cumulative net inflows reached $989.3M, marking a five‑week positive streak despite volatility (SoSoValue data).
US regulators issued joint guidance clarifying that most crypto assets are digital commodities, not securities. The SEC and CFTC named assets including Solana, Cardano, and XRP, alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum (NewsBTC on SEC/CFTC guidance).
SOL trades at $90, up 6.4% over the month.
