Taproot Wizards, a Bitcoin Ordinals collection, will hold its first public sale on March 25. Key details include:

2,085 Wizards available for minting at 0.2 BTC (approximately $16,000).
Discount to 0.1 BTC ($7,900) for owners of two “entangled” Quantum Cats.
Total supply limited to 2,121 Wizards.
Honorary Wizards will be given away, not included in the sale.

The project aims to demonstrate lasting value beyond typical temporary NFT collections. Some Bitcoin maximalists oppose Ordinals art, labeling it as "vandalism."

Wizards founder Udi Wertheimer noted unusual fan engagement methods, including extreme stunts to gain attention. The team raised $30 million recently and is advocating for OP_CAT, a proposal aimed at enhancing Bitcoin’s functionality similar to Ethereum’s smart contracts.

Most Wizards will be sold via whitelist with a few offered through Dutch auction and others as rewards for loyal supporters.
