Valour Launches 20 New Crypto ETPs on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market
Valour Inc, a digital asset technology company owned by DeFi Technologies, launched 20 new exchange-traded products (ETPs) on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market. This rollout, announced on December 12, marks Valour's most significant single-day introduction of ETPs, increasing its total offerings on the stock exchange to 45.
A Game-Changing Moment for Spotlight
Valour began listing crypto ETPs on Spotlight in June, starting with two instruments: Core and Hedera. In less than six months, this collaboration led to the addition of 20 new ETPs, bringing Valour's total to 45 on Spotlight and 60 across other European exchanges. Some of these ETPs are world premieres in their categories.
Anders Kumlin, CEO of Spotlight Stock Market, noted the growing demand for digital asset-related products, stating that the rapid growth of the segment has been impressive.
“On June 25, we launched our new ETP segment with Valour, who then listed two instruments for trade. Less than half a year later, we have 45 ETPs listed, reflecting the ever-growing demand and interest for digital assets,” said Kumlin.
The newly launched ETPs feature established assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as emerging names such as Sei, Render, and Aptos. This diverse portfolio allows investors to explore various blockchain technologies and investment options.
A Milestone for Valour
For Valour, launching these 20 ETPs is a historic step towards its goal of reaching 100 ETPs by the end of 2025. Johanna Belitz, Head of Nordics at Valour, emphasized the significance of this milestone.
“This milestone paves the way for our ambitious goal of reaching 100 ETPs by the end of 2025, underscoring our dedication to providing secure, regulated pathways for digital asset investment,” said Johan Wattenström, Co-Founder of Valour.
Valour also plans to expand into the African market through a partnership with the Nairobi Securities Exchange, introducing ETPs for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Hedera. Additionally, Valour launched a physically backed Ethereum staking ETP on the London Stock Exchange in September 2024, allowing institutional investors to earn staking rewards while gaining regulated exposure to Ethereum.
