At the same time, perp CVD sits around -$261 million. Derivatives positioning stays defensive, adding short exposure as spot demand absorbs it source.

Support comes from spot, not leverage. Futures haven’t flipped to confirm the move. The standoff ends when one side exhausts.
The chart stays bearish. Price trades near $1.32, below the 50, 100, and 200‑day MAs, all trending down. February’s break of $1.70–$1.80 drove a move to $1.20, which now anchors range support. Rebounds keep printing lower highs, and attempts above $1.50 failed.
