XRP must hit $24 to surpass Bitcoin, US veteran claims
Ex–Army medic Patrick L. Riley said on X that XRP will overtake Bitcoin. He gave no data or timeline in the post.
The path is steep. XRP would need to jump from $1.41 toward ~$23.70–$24 to top Bitcoin, per current ranks.
Today, Bitcoin leads the market. Ethereum is second. BNB is third. XRP is fourth.
What must happen first:
- Close the gap with BNB by ~3.5 percent
- Pass Ethereum with ~190 percent upside to above ~$4.15
- Then reach roughly ~$23.70 to surpass Bitcoin
Riley repeated the claim on March 4. “XRP will pass Bitcoin,” he wrote. He paired it with another call on geopolitics: “This will not be a 4–5 week long war” in the same post.
Another voice backed a similar view. In August 2025, Coach JV said XRP would be number one by 2030, Bitcoin second in his X post.
Riley also referenced the Israel–Iran conflict that began on February 28. The US and Israel struck Iranian leadership, nuclear sites, and proxies, and Iran launched 200+ missiles and drones in response, according to Al Jazeera’s live coverage. Reports say Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed on day one per Al Jazeera.
