What is Secret?

Secret is the native coin of the Secret Network, a decentralized network for private / secure computation. Nodes on the network (known as secret nodes) can perform generalizable computations over encrypted data, which allows smart contracts (known as secret contracts) to use private and sensitive data as inputs. Our focus is on computational privacy, not just transactional privacy. Developers can build decentralized, privacy-preserving "Secret Apps" on the network.

Through Secret AI SDK users and developers can access privacy preserving AI models and inference, powering senisitive workflows such as Healthcare, and internal business workflows for institutions.

Through Secret VM, developers can create a confidential virtual machine that allows any application to become cryptographically verifiable and confidential.

The privacy functionality of the Secret Network is critical for many fields, including decentralized finance, Web3, machine learning, AI and agentic inference, access control, and many more.

The Secret Network is supported by many independent development teams and entities, including, Secret Foundation, Secretnodes.org, Chain of Secrets, and more

How to add Secret to Metamask?

To add SCRT to the metamask you need:

  1. In the wallet select the desired network and then in the cryptocurrencies section scroll to the bottom - click "Import tokens".
  2. Copy the smart contract address for Secret from the list below.
  3. Paste into the "Smart Contract Address" field.
  4. Click the "Add Custom Token" button.

The SCRT is available on the 2 blockchain networks. Below is a list of Secret smartcontract addresses to add to the metamask:
