For a crypto purchase in Uzbekistan, start with the current local provider register. Familiar international branding does not establish a lawful route for paying in soums or using P2P.

Local providers and the Binance route
Use the NAPP electronic register to distinguish an active permission from a historical entry. Exchange, crypto-store and depository permissions cover different activities.
CoinPay — the local Binance arrangement
The current register lists COINPAY exchange licence CE #0007 and crypto-store licence CS #0020, issued on 12 October 2026 following an address change. Older publications can still cite the preceding numbers.

A register entry confirms a permission, not successful onboarding for every applicant. Available payment channels and the transaction quote must be shown by the service you use.
ASTERIUM — local application and exchange services
The register lists ASTERIUM's exchange, depository and crypto-store permissions issued on 2 April 2026. Its official website describes buying, selling and exchanging assets in an application.
- Compare the purchase quote and the amount you can withdraw to your own wallet.
- Check the asset, network, minimum amount and any separate withdrawal fee.
- Card, investment and other products have their own terms. They are not interchangeable with a straightforward crypto purchase.
The provider also publishes legal documents. Match their company details to the register before funding an account.
Why an old UzNEX recommendation is no longer enough
NAPP's register records revocation of KOBEA GROUP's exchange licence CE #0003 on 25 May 2026. A website or old licence image should not be treated as evidence of current authorisation.
If you already have an account or assets with a provider, use its official support and the regulator's notices to establish the applicable procedure. Do not send a new payment simply because an old comparison lists it.
