Arthur Hayes reiterates $250,000 year-end Bitcoin target, implying 256% upside
Arthur Hayes repeats a $250,000 year-end 2026 target for Bitcoin. He restated the call in a new interview.
Bitcoin trades near $70,100. That path implies about 256.5% upside if the target hits.
Hayes reaffirmed the figure in a recent YouTube interview. He has been a consistent Bitcoin bull, as seen in prior commentary covered by NewsBTC here.
He has also floated earlier long-term calls for $200,000, including views discussed by Bitcoinist here.
What could drive it higher. Hayes has argued that a prolonged US–Iran conflict could force more Fed liquidity, a backdrop he believes is bullish for Bitcoin according to Bitcoinist.
Bigger picture. He previously mapped an even larger range, $500,000–$750,000 by end-2026, tied to Middle East escalation, per NewsBTC.
But he also flagged timing risks. “If I had $1 to invest right now, would I be putting it into Bitcoin? No. I would wait,” he said in another podcast appearance, adding he’d buy when the Fed starts easing per NewsBTC.
