Binance XRP withdrawals surge as spot ETFs absorb $1.4B despite pullback
Binance XRP withdrawals spike as spot ETFs hit $1.44B inflows
Withdrawal transactions for XRP on Binance jumped while price fell. Spot XRP ETFs kept taking in cash.
Analyst Darkfost flagged a selective altcoin bid. “Altcoins are starting to show some early signs of resilience,” he wrote. Total3 is ranging $640B–$740B and is up ~11% since early February source. He cited a tough macro and thin liquidity source. Asset selection matters as supply of tokens grows, he said source. Total3 excludes Ethereum.
XRP stood out in flows. A CryptoQuant chart shows sharp spikes in Binance withdrawal transactions. The largest topped 14,000 on March 6 source. These came as price stayed weak source.
“Positive signals are emerging around XRP,” Darkfost wrote. “More than 14,000 transactions on March 6.” He said this may point to coins moving off exchange to private wallets source.

ETF flows back the on-chain read. “Spot XRP products have actually held up pretty well despite the massive pullback in price,” wrote Bloomberg’s James Seyffart source. Cumulative inflows climbed from ~$150M on Nov 13, 2025 to $1.44B by March 4, 2026 source.
Buyer visibility is limited. “We only know a small portion” due to 13F gaps, Seyffart noted source. As of 12/31/2025, Goldman Sachs held $153.8M (83.6M XRP). Millennium had $23.1M (12.5M XRP). Smaller stakes sat at Citadel, Jane Street, DRW, and others source.
Net take: exchange outflows plus steady ETF absorption. Institutional names show up in filings.
