Analysts debate Bitcoin rally to $80,000 amid $66,800 price
Analysts see path to $80k for BTC; shorts queued at $79k–$84k
Bitcoin bounced off low-$60k support again. Two analysts map a run toward $80k–$84k, but one plans to fade it.
- Jordan targets $80k in the short term. He cites a bullish trend that started in February when a local low near $60k formed and BTC later touched $76k. His view: holds above support in the low-$60k range, then momentum can fill the $80k–$84k CME gap here.
- He adds that price stayed over key supports despite headlines about the U.S.–Iran war.
- Doctor Profit expects a revisit of $79k–$84k and will look to add shorts there. He assigns a high-medium probability of that move, but says the war skewed risk-reward for longs in his post.
- He maintains BTC is still in a bear market and not bottomed. His plan: short $79k–$84k, aim for targets below $50k same source.
- CrypFlow says it is not time to buy here. He watches the 2‑month stochastic RSI bullish cross, which has preceded cycle buy zones in 2015, 2019, and 2023 explainer and marked the start of the last bull run context. The cross has not triggered yet.
At writing, Bitcoin trades near $66,800, up on the day.
