Bitcoin Bull Score reaches 50, exits bearish zone, turns neutral
CryptoQuant: Bitcoin Bull Score hits 50, exits bearish zone
CryptoQuant’s Bull Score Index for Bitcoin rose to 50. Julio Moreno calls this a shift to neutral, not bullish on X.
He cites March 2022. Then, the index briefly turned neutral before price fell again source.
The chart shows the threshold. Readings of 60+ mark bullish territory, while 50 is neutral. The move suggests selling pressure eased, but a trend reversal isn’t confirmed.
Through mid‑2025, the index often printed 60+ as price pushed above $120k, per the CryptoQuant chart below.
Later, conditions worsened. Into late 2025 and early 2026, the Bull Score slid toward the bottom as price moved to the low‑$60k range NewsBTC.
By April, the indicator recovered toward neutral. The Bull Score climbed back near 50 as price rebounded into the mid‑$70k area NewsBTC.
What matters now is follow‑through. Neutral can precede upside if it holds above 50 and pushes toward 60. It can also be a pause in a broader downtrend, as in 2022 Moreno.
- Neutral zone: 50 on Bull Score source
- Bullish zone: 60+ on the index
- Late 2025–early 2026: weakness, low‑$60k price range source
- April recovery toward neutral as price rebounded to mid‑$70k source
