Fink projects $500M crypto revenue at BlackRock in five years

BlackRock targets $500M a year from digital assets within five years. Fink puts tokenization and stablecoins at the core.

The CEO said BlackRock will scale crypto across ETFs, tokenized funds, and stablecoin services, citing rapid institutional demand (Forbes).

  • Revenue target 500M a year in five years (Forbes)
  • About 800,000 Bitcoin held via iShares ETF, ~$55B (Forbes)
  • BUIDL became the largest tokenized fund after topping $2B AuM (Forbes)
  • $65B stablecoin reserves managed and ~$80B in digital-asset ETPs (NewsBTC)

Fink compared tokenization’s impact to the internet’s effect on commerce. He called it an upgrade to the financial system’s “plumbing” (Forbes).

He warned the US could lose ground if it lags on digitization and tokenization. Juniper data shows about half the world already uses a digital wallet on their phone (NewsBTC).

Fink countered skeptics who call Bitcoin “worthless,” framing demand as driven by physical and financial security concerns and by fears of asset debasement from fiscal deficits (Forbes).
