Brazilian Stock Exchange B3 to Launch Bitcoin Options and ETH, SOL Futures

Brazil's stock exchange B3 will introduce bitcoin options and futures contracts for ether and solana this year, according to CEO Gilson Finkelsztain. Key details include:

Bitcoin futures were added in April 2022.
Current trading volume for bitcoin futures is R$5 billion (approx. $860 million) monthly.
Traditional cryptocurrency exchanges reported R$6.66 billion (approx. $1.13 billion) in trading volume in January.
