Strategy surpasses BlackRock’s Bitcoin holdings after $2.54B purchase of 34,164 BTC

Saylor says Strategy bought 34,164 BTC. The stash now tops 815,000 BTC.

He announced the $2.54 billion purchase at an average price of $74,395 per coin. This pushes total holdings to 815,061 BTC and total spend to $61.56 billion. The average entry price fell to $75,527.

Strategy now sits ahead of BlackRock’s spot ETF. BlackRock IBIT holds 798,062 BTC, per Bitbo. Spot ETFs saw rapid inflows earlier this year, led by BlackRock inflows.

Saylor keeps buying. He framed BTC as a long-term treasury asset and raised fresh funds for more buys here. The company started accumulating in 2020 and continues to add regularly.
