Standard Chartered projects Uniswap to hit $100 by 2030
**Standard Chartered projects UNI at $100 by 2030**
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage on UNI, outlining a long-term target of $100 by the end of 2030. The forecast hinges on rapid institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
The bank’s model maps a gradual rise — $6.50 in 2026, $20 in 2027, $40 in 2028, $65 in 2029, and ultimately $100 in 2030.
The thesis assumes RWAs such as bonds, funds, equities and credit products will increasingly move on-chain, reaching a projected $4 trillion market by 2028. In that scenario, decentralized exchanges like Uniswap could become key liquidity venues.
But regulation remains the main risk. Securities laws, transfer restrictions and compliance requirements might push institutions toward permissioned pools or bank-linked platforms, reducing open DeFi’s role.
Traders will watch if this analyst coverage boosts UNI’s market perception. The core question: will Uniswap be infrastructure for institutional tokenization, or will that flow bypass open protocols?
