Ethereum reclaims realized price as MVRV drops to 0.93 buy zone

min

ETH slipped below its realized price for the first time in 2 years. MVRV hit the 0.8–1.0 band that on‑chain analysts tie to prior long‑term bottoms.

Analyst Ali Martinez called it a “generational ‘Buy Zone.’” He noted the MVRV Ratio has entered 0.8–1.0, a range that preceded large rebounds in past cycles. He cited prior moves of roughly 150%, 5,390%, 130%, 280% and 250% from this zone on X.

Ethereum briefly traded below its realized price, Glassnode said. The firm posted Realized Price at $2,058.04 and MVRV at 0.93, implying a 7% unrealized loss for the average holder on X.

Why that matters. Sub‑1.0 MVRV means spot is at or under the on‑chain cost basis, a zone where prior cycles saw seller exhaustion and long‑duration bids return source source.

At press time, ETH rebounded above realized price to $2,139. The chart below shows the move.
