Hyperliquid trader James Wynn crashed from a $84.21m peak to $914.21. A run of liquidations hit his Bitcoin shorts as price rebounded.

HypurrScan shows the drawdown from May 2025’s $84.21m balance to $914.21 now source. Wynn rose fast, reaching that peak just over two months after he started on the DEX Hyperliquid.

He used high leverage. He built a $1.25b long on Bitcoin at 40x, one of the largest positions then source. That position was later liquidated. His all‑time PnL on Hyperliquid now shows a $22m loss source.

His stance flipped bearish late last year source. BTC has trended down since its $126,000 ATH source.

Lookonchain reports Wynn shorted near $67,000 and was liquidated at $67,900. They count six liquidations in two weeks source. The rebound followed the U.S.–Iran ceasefire headlines source.

BTC held $66,000 support and reclaimed the $70,000 level source. HypurrScan shows no new Wynn positions since the ceasefire source.
