Mutsamudu, Comoros, September 30, 2026 – CoinGecko Research’s 2026 Crypto Liquidity on CEXes Report found MEXC led order book liquidity at the market price for SOL and DOGE. The study measured order book depth for BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, and DOGE across eight exchanges over 60 days from July 6 to September 3, 2026.

SOL liquidity at the market price

Liquidity distribution across exchanges increased versus 2025 while total SOL liquidity declined. MEXC recorded about $934,000 in SOL order book liquidity at the market price, the highest among the eight venues. Beyond ±$0.20 from the market price, Bitget and Coinbase showed greater depth than MEXC.

DOGE liquidity leadership and depth profile

MEXC posted over $443,000 in DOGE liquidity at the market price, leading the cohort. Only Binance, MEXC, and OKX exceeded $200,000 at this level. Past the ±$0.0006 (0.3%) range, MEXC surpassed Binance and Bitget and stabilized beyond ±1% at roughly $2 million on each side of the order book.

Stability during market shifts

During August 21 DOGE market moves, MEXC maintained substantial order book depth. The report observed larger block orders by MEXC traders around key price levels during subsequent DOGE price changes.

Implications

MEXC demonstrated strong liquidity near the market price for SOL and DOGE, with DOGE depth extending further into the book. Deeper liquidity supports execution with reduced price impact.
