The report evaluates liquidity across nine global exchanges based on order book depth, trading slippage, and bid-ask spread, covering BTC and ETH in spot and futures, plus XAU (gold) and XAG (silver) futures.
Spot market: BTC and ETH depth and execution
At the 0.01% band, MEXC’s combined BTC and ETH spot depth: approximately $1.35 million, tied for deepest in the report. At 0.03%, depth: $3.58 million, ranked second. For a $500,000 BTC spot sell order, median slippage: 0.005%, the lowest in the report.
Futures market: near-touch depth and slippage
Within the 0.03% band, combined BTC and ETH futures depth: $21.03 million, the deepest among nine exchanges. This indicates concentrated executable liquidity near mid-price.
ETH futures execution consistency: for a $500,000 sell order, median/P90 slippage 0.003%/0.007%; for a $1,000,000 sell order, 0.008%/0.013%, among top results in the report.
Precious metals futures
In XAG futures, median slippage for a $300,000 sell order: 0.002%, the lowest among surveyed exchanges. Combined XAU and XAG futures depth within the 0.01% band: $2.39 million. MEXC led the market in XAG-specific order book depth.
