XRP flashes rare bottom setup, says Will Taylor: RSI oversold, funding negative 7 weeks

Analyst Will Taylor says XRP is printing a multi-factor bottom that has only appeared a few times before. He expects an altcoin move if volatility breaks up via his video.

He bases the call on clustered signals across XRP/USD, XRP/BTC, XRP dominance, XRP versus gold, and broader alt market structure source.

On the weekly chart, he says XRP broke out of a multi‑year accumulation range from 2018 to late‑2024 and is now building support between about $1.38 and the mid‑$0.60s. He adds the weekly RSI has only turned oversold a few times and previously marked the exact bottom. “We hit that area again now,” he said source.

He cites derivatives too. Funding stayed negative for roughly seven weeks, a stretch he notes was last seen around the 2022 bear lows when RSI was oversold source.

Lower time frames show early strength, but he wants confirmation on holds and reclaims source:

  • Three-day close above range for the first time since Feb 3
  • Watch $1.45 to $1.51 as breakout zone
  • Key reclaim around $1.67
  • Weekly resistance near $1.85 to $2.00

Against BTC, he says XRP stabilized at the bottom of a long consolidation and printed a daily higher high, signaling life at the range low source.

He highlights XRP versus gold. Weekly RSI turned oversold and crossed bullish for only the second time, from what he calls key support NewsBTC.

Liquidity maps, he argues, skew to the upside. He sees dense short-side liquidity into $1.90 and, on a larger scale, toward $3.60 to $4.30. Clearing levels could trigger liquidations and an OI reset, fueling a cascade similar to past breakouts source.

A macro or regulatory spark may be needed, he says, pointing to potential legislation like the Clarity Act source.

His cycle map is unchanged. He targets $14 to $18 and plans to deleverage between $8 and $12, then again into $14 to $18 NewsBTC NewsBTC.
