After the MEXC and Bitget restrictions, choosing a crypto exchange for Russia starts with two questions: whether the platform accepts your account and whether it supports the operation you need.
Buying USDT, ordinary spot trading and trading a specific altcoin require different comparisons.
This guide compares regional terms and fees, separating account access, ruble payments and trading products. Checked on 23 October 2026. The catalogue contains venues with reviewed access conditions, while the guide helps narrow the choice by task.
What matters after the MEXC and Bitget changes
- MEXC and Bitget are excluded from this selection. Existing customers should follow their own account notices rather than a deadline copied from somebody else's email.
- Bybit, BingX, OKX and KuCoin are starting points, subject to regional and product restrictions.
- Crypto trading access does not mean direct ruble funding from any Russian card.
- For a USDT transfer, the sending and receiving networks must match.
Choose an exchange for your task
| Task | Starting point | Main condition |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary purchases and spot trading | Bybit | International account and available products |
| Compare an additional venue | BingX | Residence, documents and instrument eligibility |
| Trade crypto already in a wallet | OKX | Separate fiat-service restrictions for Russia |
| Buy a specific altcoin | KuCoin | Pair fee category and supported network |
Four platforms in more detail
These are comparison scenarios, not guarantees of registration or access to every product.
Bybit — a starting point for spot trading
The restricted-jurisdiction list does not contain a blanket Russia exclusion at the check date. Territorial and individual restrictions still apply.
- The Bybit fee schedule lists 0.1% maker and taker for ordinary VIP 0 crypto-crypto spot trades.
- Fiat pairs, special trading zones and derivatives use different rates.
- For an ordinary purchase without leverage, select spot and compare funding and withdrawal costs first.
BingX — an additional comparison option
Russia is not named among excluded jurisdictions in the published regional rules.
The customer agreement considers residence and documents.
- Compare the specific instrument, execution price and asset withdrawal.
- If using copy trading, assess position size and potential losses independently of a trader's past returns.
- Use it for an additional quote and interface comparison rather than assuming identical terms for all accounts.
OKX — separate fiat restrictions
The Risk & Compliance Disclosure lists Russia among jurisdictions with restricted fiat payment services.
- Consider the platform for trading supported cryptoassets already in your wallet.
- Being able to log in does not establish ruble deposit access.
- Confirm the asset, network and minimum deposit before changing venues.
KuCoin — start with the token
The Terms of Use do not specify a separate blanket Russia ban at the check date. Sanctions and territorial requirements remain applicable.
- Compare liquidity and the asset's network instead of total listing count alone.
- The 0.1% base rate does not apply to every pair. Some categories cost more.
- New registrations require identification. Old recommendations describing KuCoin as a no-KYC option are outdated.
More exchanges in the selection
The selection includes additional venues. Their regional terms and product restrictions are linked below.
| Exchange | Selection condition | Primary source |
|---|---|---|
| Bitunix | Regional restrictions and personal sanctions | Terms |
| Ourbit | Residence and sanctions screening | Terms |
| Toobit | Separate regional and product restrictions | Terms |
| CoinW | Access depends on country and account checks | Terms |
| Phemex | Fiat transfers and prediction markets are restricted for Russia | Terms |
| BYDFi | BYDFi card applications are unavailable from Russia | Terms |
| XT.COM | Territorial restrictions apply | Terms |
| Zoomex | The Zoomex card has separate country restrictions | Terms |
| Deepcoin | The exchange may request identity verification | Terms |
| Tapbit | Individual services depend on the region | Terms |
| KCEX | KYC, AML and regional policies apply | Terms |
Compare these when they offer the required pair, network or execution.
Phemex separately restricts fiat transfers for Russia.
BYDFi and Zoomex cards have their own country lists.
Exchange access and card eligibility are different conditions.
Cost of a purchase and transfer
A 0.1% rate on a 1,000 USDT trade equals 1 USDT in trading fees. The complete transaction includes other costs.
| Stage | What determines the result |
|---|---|
| Ruble purchase | Seller or payment-provider exchange rate |
| Exchange trade | Pair, tier and execution type |
| Transfer to another platform | Network, withdrawal fee and deposit minimum |
| Sale back to fiat | Sale price and available settlement route |
Use the USDT page for asset markets and exchange profiles for fee and review information.
What changed at MEXC and Bitget
Both are excluded from this Russia selection. Their profiles remain available for existing account holders.
- MEXC announced a service change for Russia and Belarus on 20 October. It states that accounts without a notification are not currently affected.
- Bitget lists Russia and Belarus as prohibited jurisdictions. Use the deadline in your own account notice.
The primary sources are the MEXC announcement and Bitget terms.
How to move to another platform
- Complete KYC and confirm the required service on the receiving exchange.
- Check the asset, network, deposit minimum and any memo or tag.
- Send a small test amount that exceeds the minimum.
- After crediting, transfer the remaining amount and save the records.
How this selection is maintained
The editorial access review is dated 23 October 2026.
Inclusion requires an operating venue and reviewed regional terms.
Market statistics update separately.
Absence from this selection does not itself mean an exchange has closed.
