Shiba Inu futures net inflows surge 1,549%, price rises 17%
SHIB futures net flows spiked 1,549% in 24 hours. Derivatives activity flipped positive as traders rotated into positions.
According to CoinGlass, net flows surged 1,549.47% day-over-day, marking a sharp shift in behavior (CoinGlass data). More capital entered Shiba Inu (SHIB) futures than exited over the period.
On-chain tallies shared on X show $14.52m in inflows and $13.80m in outflows, leaving a net +$446,810 over the day (X: SHIB Knight). The base effect from low prior flows amplified the percentage jump, but positioning still picked up among derivatives traders (Bitcoinist).
The spike followed recent downward pressure on SHIB, with sellers capping price action before the derivatives turn (NewsBTC).
Crypto analyst SHIB Knight called the move a recovery phase. “The market is healing,” he wrote, tying SHIB’s rebound to Bitcoin (BTC) reclaiming $70,000 (X: SHIB Knight, Bitcoinist).
