April CLARITY Act vote timing may decide XRP breakout or drop
Daodu maps three April paths for XRP as Senate eyes CLARITY Act
Market analyst Sam Daodu outlines three paths for XRP this month. The pivot is whether the Senate Banking Committee schedules a CLARITY Act markup within two weeks link.
He says the Senate calendar narrows after midterms ramp up. That window could decide if XRP stays range‑bound or breaks out link.
XRP has traded mostly between $1.28 and $1.45 in 2026. April could set the tone for the rest of the year, he adds.
- Bullish The committee sets a markup before May. Even announcing a date could lift XRP ahead of any vote link. Daodu says ETF inflows could add $4–8B on top of roughly $1.2B already in spot funds. First test is $1.45, where ~60% of circulating supply bought, forming a break‑even wall; a break targets $1.60 link.
- Base case The April 16 SEC roundtable lands well, but no markup date is set. XRP stays in the same broad band, with any pop likely fading without a catalyst to clear $1.40 link. Expected April close: $1.30–$1.40, up from March’s $1.33, but not a decisive shift, per Daodu.
- Bearish The markup slips beyond May and the delay looks like failure. He flags “real‑world stress” as a risk driver and a break of $1.28 that could send XRP toward $1.15 link. He cites the April 22 ceasefire expiry and collapsed Islamabad talks, and warns if oil spikes above $110, pressure rises. At ~$1.33 now, that path implies about a 13% drop link.
