Dogecoin team announces corporate rebrand amid April Fools speculation

Dogecoin team announces a “full corporate restructuring” into DogeCoin Financial Solutions LLC and a rebrand. Community calls it an April Fools-style post.

In an X post, the team outlined five changes here:
- Transition to DogeCoin Financial Solutions LLC
- Retire the Shiba Inu dog logo for a navy-blue emblem
- Publish a 67-page whitepaper “Toward a Synergistic Decentralized Liquidity Framework”
- Rebrand the “DOGE Army” as “stakeholders”
- Stop using “wow,” “much,” and “very,” and “schedule the moon” for FY26 Q3

They added a legal note on “wow” being a forward‑looking statement and wrote the pivot “positions DogeCoin Financial Solutions LLC for maximum enterprise scalability and shareholder value optimization” in the same post.

Many community members treated it as a joke. DogeOS cofounder BuildrJ “announced” an LOI for DogeOS and MyDoge to be acquired, with MyDoge V3 turning into an “AI-powered astronomy app” on X.

Network activity ticked up. Active addresses rose 28% in a week, from 57,000 to 73,000 per Ali Martinez. He earlier flagged a descending triangle with a potential 29% move here.

Macro headlines also moved risk. Donald Trump said the Iran war “could end within the next two to three weeks” per CNN.

Price check. Dogecoin trades near $0.09222 and is eyeing $0.10, per CoinMarketCap.
